2026 Maple Sugaring Season Update

The 2026 maple sugaring season is off to a fantastic start here at Dodge’s Sugar Shack. As of March 9, we’ve already collected more than 11,850 gallons of sap, and produced 257 gallons of syrup and the tress are still flowing strong each day.

Our woods are alive with the quiet rhythm of sugaring season — from freshly tapped maple trees slowly filling the sap lines, to the sweet steam rising from the evaporator as sap is carefully boiled down into rich, golden maple syrup.

Below you can take a look at the season in action — from the forest to the sugarhouse — with videos and photos captured during this year’s harvest.
